Spicy Paniyaram



Independence Day Special



Hi Wish u all Happy Independence Day...So happy to open my Kitchen today...This is my Hubby's life time favoritedish "spicy paniyaram". If u have Rice batter you can do this so fast and easily..This Dish is South indian breakfast ,also u can have it as a snack..ok no more stories...lets cook together...3..2..1..go...


Cooking time: 5 mins

Served : 2

Ingerdients :

Rice batter (used in Idli & Dosa) : 2 cups
Green Chillies - 2 Nos.
Onion nicely - 1 No. (Medium Size)
Curry Leaves chopped - 4-5 Leaves
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Hing Powder - a pinch
(Asofetida)

Cooking Process:

Wow! u r ready to go.....

- Finely chop onions, green chillies, curry leaves..
- Heat a Small pan, pour a spoon of oil .
-Add few Mustard Seeds,wait for them to crackle..

Ok Got the sound....next?
-Add green chillies,hing add onions and pinch of salt..
Onions got brown....next?
-Add curry leaves..

Finally...Mix All the above to the two cups of rice batter...thats it..

Ok then..heat the Paniyaram pan...
- Add few drops of oil in each cup of the pan..
-Just start pouring the mixed batter in each cup..
-Wait for 1 or 2 mins till the batter turns brown color...
- After 2 mins just turn all the half cooked paniyarams to cook for the other side.
-Just wait...for another 2 more mins..till u can see brown paniyarams..
-Done..ready to eat...

Rice Batter- Available in All indian Stores..also u can prepare at home.
Good to eat with- All chutneys (Tomato, Mint, Coconut) also Sambhar.
